WELCOME TO STEVE TOTTLE TAEKWONDO

Steve Tottle Tae Kwon Do Club is one of the largest clubs in Wales. It has taught some of the best fighters and martial artists within the TAGB. With 7 World Champions, numerous European and British champions and even more Welsh Champions, Steve Tottle continues to produce great Tae Kwon Do students every year.

Whether your goal is to get in shape, lose weight, learn a new skill or meet new people, Steve Tottle Tae Kwon Do is the place to be. Our experienced instructors teach adults, teens and kids of all ages and skill levels in a positive and friendly environment.

We run classes for 4-6 year olds, 6-13 years and 13 years and above. We also have mixed classes for Adults and Juniors, so the whole family can take part!

Tae Kwon Do is a version of an ancient form of unarmed combat practiced for many centuries in the Orient, perfected in its present form in Korea.

Tae Kwon Do is a mental and physical discipline designed over 2000 years with the ultimate goal being mental and physical health. That is the health of ourselves, our family and our friends.

Our Tigers lessons are aimed at our youngest students, age 4 – 6 years. We teach our Tigers in a fun environment. Our aim is to introduce them to Tae Kwon Do skills with lots of fun and enjoyment.

Junior classes give young children aged 6 – 13 the chance to meet and interact with other children, while learning basic Tae Kwon Do and self-defence techniques. It also helps with their balance, co-ordination, confidence and physical movement.

‼️ IT’S GRADING DAY‼️‼️REMINDER RE THE ROAD CLOSURE‼️To access Hawthorn Leisure Centre you will need to go via the GlynTaf roundabout.Make sure you plan ahead. The final resurfacing work requires a full road closure along A4054 Cardiff Road, outlined on the following map: orlo.uk/dIhJfThe closure has been scheduled for a weekend to minimise disruption, and will take place from 8am on Saturday, July 6, to 7pm on Sunday, July 7. A4054 Cardiff Road will close for around 100-metres either side of the School Lane junction – preventing access to School Lane and Ynyslyn Road.An alternative route for motorists will be via Glyntaff Roundabout, the A470, Upper Boat Roundabout and the A4054. Access will be maintained for pedestrians but cannot be maintained for emergency services. Cyclists should dismount and take the pedestrian route.During the works, local bus services will be unable to serve the main road through Hawthorn. These include Service 102 (Glyn-coch-Nantgarw), Service 120 (Blaencwm-Caerphilly) and Service 132 (Cardiff-Maerdy). These will divert from Glyntaff Roundabout to the A470 in both directions, before resuming their normal route at Upper Boat Roundabout.A FREE shuttle bus service operated by Adventure Travel will travel to and from Rhydyfelin and Hawthorn during the closure – to Glantaf Gardens, Rhydyfelin, and to the Pottery Bus stop on Treforest Industrial Estate.
